The UAF Geophysical Institute Geodesy Lab is a research group also associated with the Department of Geology and Geophysics. We conduct research into a variety of crustal deformation problems using modern space geodetic techniques. Primarily we use the Global Positioning System (GPS) and Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR).
